Divide Land · Effective October 26, 2026

Divide Land lets you lay out lots over a plat, survey or satellite image. This page explains what information the app handles, where it goes, and how to delete it. We don't sell your information or show ads.

If you don't sign in

Your plan (the overlay image you add, your lots and settings) is saved only in your own browser, using its local storage. It isn't sent to us unless you create a share link (see below).

Share links

When you create a copy link or start a live session, a copy of the plan and its overlay image is stored on our servers, and anyone with the link can open it. Share links aren't tied to your account. To have one removed, email us the link.

Your location

If you turn on "Show where I am", your browser asks for permission and the app uses your GPS position only on your device, to draw the dot on the map. Your location is never sent to our servers.

Usage statistics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to learn how the app is used: which pages are visited, roughly which features are used, the kind of device and browser, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google sets cookies for this. We send page addresses without the parts that can hold share-link keys, and we never send your plans, lot shapes, project names or account details. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, or by blocking cookies for this site.

Services the app uses

Some features load data straight from other providers. Those providers receive the request from your browser, including your IP address and the area of the map being viewed:

Deleting your information

Children

The app isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date.
